“Regeneration and Multiplication of Armenian Vegetable and Industrial Crops Accessions for Safety Duplication at the Svalbard Global Seed Vault”
The valuable vegetable and industrial crops accessions of Armenian origin will be regenerated and multiplicated, duplicate accessions will be sent to the Svalbard Global Seed Vault for safety duplication.
Testing green manure plants and biological fertilizers, evaluation of effectiveness of their application for promoting green agriculture in Armenia
To promote the development of green agriculture in the Republic the new technologies based on the use of green manure plants and biological fertilizers are being studied and developed.
Promoting breeding of vegetable crops by diversifying breeding base, obtaining and digitizing data on genetic resources characterization and evaluation and providing access to them
The development of an open access information system for the vegetable crops collection will ensure the accessibility of genetic material for a wide range of users in accordance with the requirements of international conventions in the field of biodiversity.
